Spirituality

I'm an ordained clergyperson and hospice chaplain with a syncretic perspective. Some call me Rev. Yoo. Those in the military call me Chaps. Most of the time I'm just Alexander. Any of these work. I completely accept whatever your philosophy, worldview, perspective, ancestral/historical/cultural beliefs – however you experience yourself, the world, and others. All good.

Regardless of your spiritual bent or background, if this is something you would like to talk about, I actively study and experience other spiritual and faith theologies and perspectives in great part through my relationships with others of faith, and I am fascinated with all the ways people relate to the Good in each other.

I am a practitioner of several spiritual and religious paths. My experience with matters of the esoteric, profound, and profane goes beyond labels, historiography, or region. As an aside, I would have further pursued monastic (buddhist) life had that also not felt limiting, labeling, and the opposite of expansive (for example, in regards to gender and sexuality). I use what I have, all the multitudes of me, to connect with the Beings introduced to my path. And I stay connected to practitioners of so many different Ways of Being.
